The Screenwriting Symposium is designed to teach the art and craft of writing a screenplay that is saleable to Hollywood. This extraordinary learning experience is a unique opportunity to learn from some of Hollywood's most successful screenwriters and screenwriting teachers. SCSFe is the only screenwriting conference in the world where you can get 9-Hour Mentor Classes and 12-Hour Advanced Academy Labs.

Components
12-Hour Academy Labs (spread over 3 days) - Limited to 10 advanced students, these are intensive labs on theory and practical applications as they pertain to structure, characterization, and market viability of your present or envisioned screenwriting effort. The Mentors for these labs are all Academy Award nominess or winners. An upgrade fee is required.
9-Hour Mentor Classes (spread over 3 days) - Limited to 30 students, these unique and individual classes offer a wide variety of approaches to successful screenwriting. Choose the Mentor class that appeals to you.
90-Minute Specialized Seminars - SCSFe is pleased to present a variety of seminars on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday afternoons during the Symposium. They will cover a myriad of topics in small classroom settings.
Mentor Panel Discussion - Our Mentors will convene for a lively discussion on the pros and cons, ins and outs, and ups and downs of showbiz as it relates to screenwriters.

Screenplay Competition - Our Actors Choice Awards competition is open exclusively to conference attendees. The five winners will have the opportunity to hear their scenes read by a cadre of actors before a live audience.

20-Minute Private Consultations - Add a 20-minute private session with our professional consultants to review the first 10 pages of your script.
